"LEWIS, Andrew P. Passed away March 28, 1993 in Spokane. Born April 12, 1908 in Rockford, WA. Preceded in death by his wife, Gladys M. Lewis, December 1992. Spokane resident for the past 50 years.
He was a professional boxer under the name of Eddie Murphy and won numerous main events on the Westcoast. Owned and operated C and V Carnival for many years. Owned Murphy's Antiques in downtown Spokane for 35 years.
Survived by two sons, Charles W. and Victor A.; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
Funeral Burial Services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, April 3, 1991 at Rockford Cemetery. Riplinger Funeral Home, 4305 North Division in charge of arrangements."
