Mary A Gardner, 84, of 16 S 30th Street, died at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, in Lafayette Home Hospital, where she had been a patient for a month. She was born July 1, 1914 in Tippecanoe County, and lived all her life in the Lafayette area. She was a graduate of Romney High School and Indiana Business College. She was married to George E Gardner, in Lafayette, and he died in February 1969. Mrs Gardner was a secretary for 10 years at MBAH Insurance Company. Surviving are a daughter, Mary G Gardner of Lafayette; two sons, Gary L Gardner of Crawfordsville and Fred A Gardner of Lafayette; and a brother, Robert a Kennedy of Lafayette. Funeral: Visitation today between 5-7 at Sollor-Baker Funeral parlors. Interment at the Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette, Indiana. Surviving are 4 grandchildren, and 4 Great-grandchildren.
