DAVID L. FLATFORD
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday for David Lawrence Flatford, 69, of Lorton, Va., who died Sunday in an Alexandria hospital after a two-weeks illness.
A native of Garrisonville and retired guard at the District Workhouse at Lorton, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Irene Flatford; a brother, R. H. Flatford of Stafford; two daughters, Mrs. Claude Woodward of Mississippi, and Mrs. T. E. Dickinson of Alexandria; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Corbin of Alexandria, and seven grandchildren.
The service and interment will be at Occoquan Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be Donald Jones, Robert Tyres, Wallace Jett, Robert H. Flatford Jr., Warren F. Marsh, Aubrey L. Goodwin.
