MRS. MARY FOSTER DIED ON SUNDAY
Funeral Services Accorded On Wednesday At Kebil Funeral Home
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Foster, well known and esteemed Sycamore resident, passed away Sunday, November 7 at 12:15 o'clock at the local hospital, where she had been a patient for the past five weeks.
Mary E. Dennis was born in Mayfield township on March 16, 1862. She was the daughter of Mary and John Darastus Dennis. On January 8, 1882 she became the bride of James Burton Foster.
Loved Her Home
The decedent has lived in this community all of her life with the exception of two years which were spent in Kansas. Since the death of her husband on June 26, 1932, she has made her home with her son, Fred.
To this union were born three children, Alline Lossman, who died in January of 1933 and two son, Roy and Fred who are left to mourn her passing. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Phoebe French of Tracy, Minn., and Mrs. Charlotte Sivwright of Sycamore, also several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Final rites are to be accorded Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Kebil's Funeral Home with Dr. H. H. Hough of the local Methodist church officiating. Burial will take place in the Elmwood cemetery here.
