Mrs. Anna M. Foster

Sycamore - Mrs. Anna M. Foster, 81, of 909 W. State St., Sycamore, died September 16, 1970 at the Sycamore Municipal Hospital.
Mrs. Foster was born February 7, 1889 in Newark, N.J. the daughter of Peter and Mary Katherine Sorenson Jacobson. She married Fred Foster on July 4, 1910 at Sycamore.
She was a member of the Royal Neighbors, the Sarah Rebekah Lodge; P.N.Y. Club; United Methodist Church of Sycamore; and the Golden Years Club and Hospital and Home Group of the church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Lyle, a son, James and a brother, Andrew Jacobson.
She was preceded by her husband.
Funeral services will be Friday, Sept. 18 at 1:30 p.m. at the Van Natta Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. William E. Kmet of the Salem Evangelical Church officiating.
Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home where Rebekah services will be held at 8 p.m.
