Herbert was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Arless (Crane) Bowen; sister, Lois Pine; and brother, Roy Bowen. He leaves his wife of 37 years, Helena (Weakland) (Seese) Bowen; daughter, Cynthia McKee; stepsons, David (Lois) Seese, Tom (Barb) Seese, Ken (Garnett) Seese, and Paul (Debby) Seese; brother-in-law, Leo (Pat) Weakland; sister-in-law, Hilda (Roy) Strahler; much beloved nephews, Bruce and Gary Pine; grandchildren, David, Kimberly, Michael, Stacie, Kristi, Josh, Kenny, Amanda, Lindsey, Stephen, and Holly; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Trinity, and Devon. Herbert also leaves his best and longtime friends with whom he always had fun, Don and Betty Backus. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
