Funeral for Adams was at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the KikerSeale Chapel with the Rev
Glenn Roenfeldt, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Colorado City, officiating.
Interment was in the Colorado City Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale
Funeral Home.
Born March 8, 1903 in Mississippi, he had lived here since 1912. He married Elma Enyart,
November 25, 1925 in Colorado City. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a
member of First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Pat Shields of Coahoma, one son, Johnny
Adams of Hobbs, New Mexico; two brothers, Kelso Adams of San Marcos and W . J.
Adams of Live Oak, California, two sisters, Mrs. Girlie Lowe and Mrs. Ida Mae Jones,
both of Colorado City and two grandchildren.
