Glenn Lee Bamburg is the son of Melvin Lee Bamburg & Onetha Jewel Lindsey. He was born on April 15, 1931 in Coushatta, Red River Parish, Louisiana. Glenn married Barbara Belia Escamilla in 1956 in San Antonio, Texas.

Glenn is the father of the following three children:

Glenn Michael Bamburg
Pamela Lynn Bamburg
April Lee Bamburg

Glenn was a Master Staff Sergeant in the Army and was stationed in Korea in the early 1950's. What he did while in the Army is still to this day "Classified", but based on the fact that he was in an Army Engineer Unit and was a Civil Engineer by trade, it was likely mapping the area for the Army.

After completing his tour with the Army, Glenn worked as a Civil Engineer for Falcon Air Maps in Texas. He and a friend Murray Schneider later purchased Falcon Air Maps and moved the company to Denver, Colorado. Murray was the President & Glenn was the Vice President of Falcon Air Maps.

Glenn drew maps from aerial photographs using a machined called the "A7". He worked there until he died on November 24, 1987 from a massive coronary. The company name "Falcon Air Maps" was retired when Murray retired.

Glenn was preceded in death by his father (Melvin Lee Bamburg)and brother (Emmitt Russell Bamburg).
