Birth: Sep. 9, 1897
Washington County
Kansas, USA
Death: Apr. 21, 1969
Denver
Denver County
Colorado, USA

"Clem" was the son of Joseph "Joe" Baker (1845-1930) and Lucinda "Belle" Whetstine-Baker (1866-1925). Social Security Death Index lists his birth year as 1898. U.S. Veterans Gravesites, ca.1775-2006 lists his birth year as 1897. Both list his birth date as 09 September. Per the volunteer photographer - (thank you!) - Clem's stone reads as follows: Clem Baker, Colorado, PVT, 1034 Tech Sq AAF, WWII, 9 Sep 1897, 21 Apr 1969. All of this means, that Clem was a private in the Air Force (Army Air Force) During World War 2. His unit was deployed from Colorado and he was part of the 1034 tecnical squadron. The dates are his birth and death. On the back of his stone is the name, Olive A., his wife, 12 Jan 1892, 26 Feb 1982. So this would be Clem's wife and her birth and death dates.
