Richard Alexander Hannah age 62 of Bremen passed away March 3 in a local hospital after an extended illness. Mr. Hannah was born in Paulding County Oct. 10, 1908, the son of the late Mrs. Mattie Holt Hannah and the late Reuben Alexander Hannah. He was preceded in death by his wife the former Miss Frances Howard in 1963. Survivors include two sons, Rickey Dean Hannah of Bremen. Richard Hannah Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Lois King of Bremen, Mrs. Peggy Morris of Bremen; two brothers, Cleve Hannah of Temple, Lovie Hannah of Knoxville, Tenn; three sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Land of Villa Rica, Mrs. Myrtice Clark of Austell; Mrs. Jessie Wix of Villa Rica; six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Friday, March 5, at 2 p.m. from the Fullerville Baptist Church with Rev. Horace Wilson officiating. The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Winfred Hannah, Wayne Hannah, Jack Hannah, Donald Hannah, Hugh Dorsey Hannah, and Pierce Barker. Music was rendered by Mr. Charles Wilson and Mrs. Nisa Cowan with Mrs. Eloise Baskin at the piano. Interment was in the Hill Crest Cemetery with Jones and Son Funeral Home, Inc. in charge of the arrangements.
