Maxine went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 81 years 2 months and 25 days.
Maxine was united in marriage to Jesse Grant Armfield, May 31, 1943. To this union three children were born.
Maxine was a faithful member of the Summersville First Baptist Church.
She was a volunteer at the Open Door.
She enjoyed reading and was an excellent seamstress.
Preceding Maxine in death are her parents, Lawrence and Sophia; three brothers, Elba Davis, Orin Davis, and Everett Davis; one sister Lola Bryant; four infant siblings, Wayne, Warren, Norma, and Perry Benton Davis.
She is survived by her husband Grant Armfield of Summersville, her children, one sister, five grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 11:00 Am at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel in Summersville.
Interment was in Summersville City Cemetery under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home of Summersville.
