ROCKINGHAM | Doris Lee Chisp Green, 71, of Lakeview Trail, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006, at First Health Richmond Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Sandhill Free Will Baptist Church by the Revs. Willie Jacobs and Royce Honeycutt.
Mrs. Green was born July 12, 1935, in Gastonia to Mack F. Chisp and Carrie Lee Chisp. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Shelia Johnson; a brother, Eddie Chisp; and one great-grandchild.
Surviving are her husband, the Rev. Arlie Green; three daughters, Janet G. Bullock of Laurel Hill, Dina G. Schultz of Laurinburg and Tina G. Underwood of Rockingham; two brothers, Buddy Chisp and Dan Chisp, both of Lexington; four sisters, Eunice Burgess, Anna Lou Evans, Eva Craver and Judy Craver, all of Lexington; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Harrington Funeral Home in Hamlet is serving the family.
