MILDRED W. BEGEMANN
Mildred W. Begemann, 86, of Marthasville, died Saturday, July 24, 1993, at St. John's Mercy Hospital in Washington.
She was born on Rush Island, near Case, January 19, 1907, a daughter of Henry and Lousine Begemann, who preceded her in death in 1985. The Begemann's engaged in farming.
Mrs. Begemann was a former Langenberg Hat Factory employee at Marthasville. She had been a resident of the New Haven Care Center since January.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ at Pickney and the church's Women's Fellowship and Quilters.
Two brothers, Edward and Clarence, and two sisters, Mabel, an infant, and Irene Schoppenhorst, also died earlier.
Mrs. Begemann is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Delbert (Opal) Dothage of Hermann and Mrs. Leland (Ruth) Schemmer of Marthasville; one brother, Elmer Mische, of Sedalia; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held monday, July 26, at St. John's United Church of Christ, Pinckney, with the Rev. Don Decker officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
