Irene M. Fletcher, 83, Roseburg,a former Klamath Falls, resident, died Jan. 26, 1998.

Mrs. Fletcher was born Oct 19, 1914, in Denver, CO to William and Ruther (Roberts) Barlow. She married William Fletcher in 1930.

Then later owned and operated the Dew Drop Restaurant in Beaver Marsh. When they retired, they moved to Klamath Falls.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1974. Mrs. Fletcher moved to Douglas County in 1994 to be near family members.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Chiloquin and Klamath Falls.

Survivors include her daughters, Leona Hazeltin of Milton Freewater, Delphine DeHaven of Central Point and Maxine Henry of Abilene, TX; son, William Henry Fletcher Jr. of Fayetteville, NC; brothers, Hod Barlow of Mountain View, CA and Spike Barlow of Oakdale, CA; sisters, Thema Santagelo of Portland; numerous grandchildren, including Ruth Youngblood of Roseburg; and numerous great-grandchildren.
