Adda was the daughter of Samuel W. and Angie Powell Wright. She was born in Sullivan, Illinois and married William Whitfield 7/21/1897. Her father was a senator of Illinois and her husband was a lawyer and judge. They had 3 children. This is a picture of Adda and next to her is a copy of her wedding invitation.
