Mr. Demaree was born Nov. 6, 1885, in Michigan Flats, Kan., and came to Wardner in 1895, working for various mines. He spent 25 years as a timberman at the Page Mine, retiring in 1956.
He was a 50-year member of the Woodmen of the World, and a member of Shoshone County Pioneer Association.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Emmingham, Kellogg; two grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
