Kenneth D (Red) Eppers Sr, of Garland, formerly of Delta County passed away Monday, April 18th. Funeral Services were held Thursday April 21 at Restland Wildwood cahpel with Dr John Glascock officiating. Interment was in Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.

Eppers was born June 17, 1932 and was the son of Roy Clifton and Ophelia Eppers, who owned the Charleston Store in Delta county for many years. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1954; attended East Texas State College on basketball/Track scholarhips while he served as a partner in the Hill Buick dealership in Commerce. He moved to Dallas in 1956 and worked with Wilson Motors and various auto dealers in D-Fw area.

He married Jean Moore in 1958.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Eppers of Garland; one daughter, Kenni-Jean Rose of Garland and son and daughter-in-law Kenneth D (Bubba) and Melissa Eppers Jr of Massachusetts; one daughter and son-in-law Karen Lea (Eppers) and Todd Pauletti of Dallas, his mother Ophelia Eppers; and three grandchildren.
Eppers was preceded in death by his father.
