Harold Kessler Boylen, 79, of Nederland, passed away, Thursday January 11, 2007 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, January 15, 2007 at Broussard's in Nederland with Rev. Malcolm Monroe officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Sunday at the mortuary.
Mr. Boylen was a native of Jane Lew, West Virginia and lived in Nederland since 1968. He retired from Ameripol-Synpole in Port Neches as a control engineer with 30 years of service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 35 in Good Hope, West Virginia, also the Knights Templer, and Shrine. Mr. Boylen also served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn L. Boylen of Nederland; one son, William "Bill" Boylen and his wife Conni of Houston; one grandson, Zachary Boylen of Portland, Texas; one sister, Glenna Murray of Orange City, Florida; brother-law, Quenton Burkhammer and his wife Nora of Weston, West Virginia, also several nieces, and nephews.
