Birth: Apr. 15, 1885
Benton County
Indiana, USA
Death: Jul. 14, 1910
Elwood

Hattie was one of five children born to Charles R. and Ruth (Benling) Bull. She married Samuel Wilson Bennett, son of Jesse W. and Mary (Cresse) Bennett on Dec. 20, 1905 in Madison County, Indiana.

Samuel and Hattie had two sons. Everett and Charles. Since Hattie died 11 days after Charles' birth, it is quite possible she died as a result of child birth complications. Baby Charles died 1 1/2 months later.

MRS. WILSON BENNETT
Died After Brief Illness This Morning

Another particularly sad death occurred in our city this morning when Hattie L., the wife of Wilson Bennett died at her home at 2213 South E Street at 9:30 o'clock, after a week's illness during which time a baby was born. The deceased was one of the best known women in the city and is survived by her husband, a son four years old, the baby of a week, her parents and brothers and sisters. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bull and one of five children. She was united in marriage to Mr. Bennett on December 20, 1905, and was one of the best known young women in the city having lived here most of her life and her death is a great shock to all who know her. The parents and husband are prostrated over their loss for she was always a good daughter, wife and mother. The funeral arrangements will not be made until after the arrival of Mr. Bennett's parents from Texas. The services will be in charge of Rev. Myers of Center, Ind., and Rev. Sumwalt of this city.
