Dale K. Beals passed away at the Mercy hospital after a lingering illness of seven months. He was laid to rest in the Walnut Hill cemetery at Council Bluffs Feb. 14.
Dale, one of the nine children of Mr. and Mrs. John Beals Sr. was born Aug. 1, 1911 and passed away Feb. 12, 1958 at the age of 46 years, five months and 10 days.
He was born in Iowa and grew to manhood in Malvern. He was a member of the Baptist church.
In 1935 he was married to Miss Bonnie Baldra of Thurman. To this union two daughters were born, Marilyn and Judy. They have made their home in Council Bluffs for the past 16 years, where Dale was employed by the Harding Co. He was greatly loved by all who knew him because of his jolly and loving nature. He was a faithful worker who always did his job well.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Bonnie; his daughters, Marilyn and Judy; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Beals Sr.; five brothers, Marion of Malvern, Roy of Red Oak, John and Dallas of Edgar, Mont., and Max of Russell; two sisters, Mrs. William Staten, Glenwood, and Mrs. Vaughn Hoover, Malvern; a sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Relatives attending services from here were Marion Beals, Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Hoover, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Frederickson and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Craig and Joyce.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Beals and sons of Russell attended the services and spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Beals Sr., and Marion.
