Henry Oliver Peterson, 87, of Duxbury, passed away at the Life Care Center of Plymouth, Sept. 11. Henry was the husband of the late Marie C. (Soares) Peterson. Father of Janice Cain and her husband Webster of Kingston and the late Cheryl J. Peterson. Brother of the late Winifred Riberio and Doris Despoto. Uncle of the late Anthony Riberio. Henry was born in Everett and moved to Duxbury as a young man he worked for the Town of Duxbury in the Cemetery department for 38 years. Henry was a hard working man and never took a vacation. He loved gardening and could build, fix and grow anything. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Marys Parish, Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 10 a.m. leaving from the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St., (Rte. 3A), N. Plymouth at 9 a.m. There are no visiting hours. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701-4688. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery Kingston.
