Mrs. Anna Toalson Dies at Daughter's Home at Age of 76
Born in Bowling Green She Came To Capital City 20 Years Ago
Mrs. Anna Toalson, 76, died yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carney Stone, 108 Lafayette Street, following a six weeks illness of heart disease.
She was born in Bowling Green, Missouri, in Pike County October 13, 1869 and came to Jefferson City 20 years ago where she has lived with her daughter.
BAPTIST CHURCH MEMBER
She was a member of the Baptist Church of Jefferson City and was prominent in church work until about seven years ago. Beside the daughter with whom she lived two other daughters survive. They are Mrs. Lorene Lucker and Mrs. L. D. Ficklin (sic) both of Columbia. A step daughter, Ann Reese Davis of Columbia and four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive her. John Toalson, her husband, preceeded her in death 22 years ago.
The funeral will be held Monday with the burial in the Riverview Cemetery.
