Funeral services for James William Bohm, 44, 108 West Hagerman, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at West's Chapel with Rev. Wilbur Klattenhoff, pastor of the Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be D. F. Ross, Jimmy Witt, Q.M. Drunzer, Rex Davis, E. B. Carlson and John Sears Jr.
Bohm, who was superintendent for Pecos Valley Construction Co. died Friday [ Dec. 12, 1958 ] in a local hospital. He had been a resident of Carlsbad for 11 years.
He was born July 28, 1914, in Rockford, Ill., where he attended school. He worked for the Axel Nelson & Sons Construction Co. in Illinois and came to Carlsbad in 1947 for his wife's health. He went to work for Pecos Valley Construction Co. shortly after moving here.
Bohm was a member of the Lutheran Church and the Operating Engineers.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alta [ Snow ]Bohm; three sons, John, Jim, and Edward, all of Carlsbad; one brother, Glenn Bohm of Mishawaka, Ind.; and one sister, Mrs. Eithel Bougin of Davenport, Iowa.
