Carolyn Bloodworth Kadingo, of Dial Place, wife of Edward P. Kadingo, passed away July 9, 2007 at her home.

Born in Atlanta, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Finney and Clara Vaughn Bloodworth. She was a graduate of Emory University, earned her master's from Converse and had 30 hours beyond master's from Furman. She was a retired special education teacher in Laurens District 55. She was a member of Laurens First Baptist Church and The Red Rover Red Hat Club. She served as clerk in the Trinity Ridge Precinct, a volunteer in the LCHCS Auxiliary, Good Shepherd, Special Olympics and the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Team. She was a master gardener and enjoyed sharing flowers.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter, Cathy and her husband the Rev. Glenn Ethridge and grandsons, Lee and Andrew, all of Decatur, GA; a son, Benjamin P. and Angie Kadingo and grandchildren, Rebekah, Nathan, and Zack, all of Atlanta, GA.
