NARCISSE BARNABY DIED AT AGE OF 89
Pneumonia Fatal to Man Who Was Almost 90
Within less than a month of having attained the age of 90 years, Narcisse Barnaby, 89, died at 1 o'clock this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Thomas Lauzon, 100 Vaughn street, after a short period of illness with
Mr. Barnaby was born in Montreal, Can., June 14, 1830, and came to this country 38 years ago, the greater part of which he spent in Ironwood. During recent years he had lived a retired life. He lived with the Lauzon
family for the last 23 years.
In addition to Mrs. Lauzon, he is survived by one daughter --Mrs. George St. Lawrence, of Loman, Minn. -- and two sons-- Sam Barnaby of Chisholm, Minn., and Edward Barnaby, Vaughn street, Ironwood.
Funeral services probably will be held at 9 o'clock Thursday morning at the St. Ambrose chruch, the Rev. Father Moriarity officiating. Burial will be in the cemetery here. Mr. Barnaby was a member of the St. John The Baptist society.
