Margaret A. Crissman, 89, formerly of 298 Seaward Ave., died Saturday in the Bradford Nursing Pavilion. She was born March 25, 1904 in Wellsville, N.Y., a daughter of Carl and Rose Deschler Arnold. She married Vern Hadley, who died in 1937, and then married E.W. Crissman, who died June 7, 1981. A resident of the Bradford area since 1918, she had been employed as a secretary for the former Bradford Supply Co. She graduated from Bradford Area High School, was a member of the grace Lutheran Church and was a former member of the Current Events Club. Surviving are a daughter, Margaret McBride of Warren; a son, Donald Hadley, of Bountiful, Utah; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Helen Armstrong, Hazel Slike and Jo McCord, all of Bradford; two brothers, Carl E. Arnold and William H. Arnold, both of Bradford; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by three sisters. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. J. Arthur Cox, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Willow Dale Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes.

Arthur Cox, pastor, officiating. Sister Maurita was the organist. Burial was in Willow Dale Cemetery. Funeral arrangement were under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes.
