Service for Jason Michael Allara, 26, of Columbia, S.C., will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo. Visitation will be Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Clemson University Foundation, P.O. Box 1889, Clemson, S.C. 29633. Graveside service will be Friday at 1 p.m. in Roselawn Cemetery, Princeton, W.Va. Mr. Allara died Saturday, April 1, 2006. Born December 17, 1979, in Morgantown, W.Va., he was a beloved son of Dr. Jack M. Allara II and Sharon Crawford Allara. He was a graduate of Irmo High School where he started on the basketball team for two years. He was a graduate of Clemson University which he loved. He was employed by Capital Produce Distributors. Surviving are his mother of Columbia; father and stepmother, Marla Allara of Salem, Va.; brothers, John Allara of Columbia and Jeff Allara and his wife, Kara of Chattanooga, Tenn.; half brother, Lucas Allara and half sister, Emily Allara, both of Salem, Va.; grandmothers, Barbara Allara of Iaeger, W.Va. and Mary Thompson of Princeton, W.Va.; and stepgrandmother, Linda Smither of Huddleston, Va. Mr. Allera is greatly missed.
