The many friends of Frank Dozark were saddened to learn of his death Sunday evening. While working at home Saturday he slipped and fell, alighting on his head with great force. He was unconscious until his death. He was a kind husband and father, and his sudden death is a terrible shock to his family. He leaves a wife, two daughters, Laura of Cedar Rapids and Lucy of Aurora, and one son, John, on the farm south of town. A more complete obituary of this well-liked man will appear next week.

Frank Dozark was born Oct. 4, 1854, at Mezimosti, Austria, and died June America with relatives and settled near Lamont, which has been a residence since. Dec. 23, 1875, he was married to Anna M. Barta. Four children were born to them--John, living south of town, Frank, who died in 1911, Lucy, at home, and Laura of Cedar Rapids. Mr. Dozark was a man of even and jovial disposition, and will be missed by many friends.
