Birth: unknown
Death: Nov. 30, 1864

David Milton Adams was born in 1836 in South Carolina. In 1860 the census shows him living in Newton County, MS., with his wife, Mary Mildred Rowzee. He enlisted on April 26, 1862, in Decatur, MS for a period of three years. He was in the 39th Mississippi Infantry, Company D AKA as the Newton Hornets (raised in Newton County, MS). He was killed on Nov 30, 1864, at the Battle of Franklin. He and his wife, Mary Mildred Rowzee Adams, had one child and his name was Joseph and he is in the 1870 Census living with his Grandmother, Louisa Cleveland Rowzee Johnston, age 9. I can't find any trace of Mary Mildred so she must have died between 1864 and 1870.
I am in the DAR and trying to follow and document this part of the Rowzee family from Newton County, MS.
