Mr. Anthony was born January 20, 1877, in Madison township, the son of John and Jennie (Roeder) Anthony. He was married in 1906 in Madison township to Minnie M. Birk who preceeded [sic] him in death in 1910. He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church at woodland.
Surviving are two sons, Wilbert Anthony of Wyatt and Mervin Anthony of Lansing, Michigan; one sister, Mrs. Ivo Huston of Charlotte, Michigan; five brothers, Philip and Reuben of Wyatt, Floyd of South Bend, Frank of Elkhart, and Oliver of Terre Haute; six grandchildren and; and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. (C.S.T.) in the Woodland church. Rev. John Thies officiated and burial was in the Woodland cemetery.
