Anthony, 66 years old, of R.R. 6, South Bend, [CONTINUED ON PAGE 8, COL. 8] died at her home Saturday evening, November 17, from a heart attack.
Mrs. Anthony was born May 8, 1896, in St. Joseph County, the daughter of Jacob and Pauline (Sauer) Walker. She was married February 9, 1928, at Woodland, to Floyd Anthony, who survives with their sons, Dale, and daughter, Mrs. Doris Ann Rassi, both of South Bend. There are six grandchildren.
Surviving also are two sisters, Emily Walker and Mrs. Mary Wahl, and a brother William, all of Mishawaka.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock in St. Paul's Lutheran church at Woodland. Rev. John Thies, pastor of the church, officiated in the services and burial was in the Woodland cemetery.
