My 3rd cousin
Ola is Uncle Messer's child. I have never heard anything about her. The following is an email I got from my Good Buddy in Lumpkin County (Bill Knight) with an attached marker photo. Thanks Bill.
Ok, the only mention I find of Ola Mae Gaydon is in the cemetery book for Lumpkin County, and it shows her buried in Mill Creek Baptist (There is a monument for her there). She is buried next to Archibald and Nancy Gaydon. Other then that I find nothing. William and Belle Gaydon show up in the 1910 census for Mill Creek, so good chance they were here at the time of Ola's birth, her death could have been part of the reason they left.
So Ola is buried next to her grandparents and my great grandparents.
Thank you for any flowers you add for this precious little 2 year old girl.
