US Marine LCPL Larry Eugene Fowler, Vietnam Veteran, Native of Hickory, NC.

US Marine Lance Corporal Larry Eugene Fowler was a casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Marine Corps Selective Service and a Draftee, LCPL Fowler served our country until February 22nd, 1967 in Quang Nam, South Vietnam. He was 20 years old and was married. It was reported that Larry died from an undetermined explosion. His body was recovered. Larry was born on April 19th, 1946 in Hickory, North Carolina. LCPL Fowler is on panel 15E, line 073 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for one year.
