Verne McKenzie Visitation Set
Funeral services for Verne F. McKenzie, 56, of 3402 Peterkin St., who died Monday at Anchorage Community Hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Green Funeral Chapel with Rev. A. L. Abrahamson of the Central Lutheran Church officiating. He was employed as a truck driver for Rogers and Babler Construction Co. and was a member of the Teamsters Union local 959. He was a 21-year resident of the area. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, of the home; a brother, Edwin Seaman, of 236 Smith Drive; a sister, Mrs. Elsie M. Cornell of Anchorage; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Velma Clevenger of Cole Camp, Mo. Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Cadman, M. C. Abrams, Guy Recknagle, Kenny Soper, Richard Cornell, and Barney Camp. A public visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Green Funeral Chapel.

Verne's obituary mentions a sister named Elsie, though he had no known sister by that name.
The obituary of Verne's wife, Patricia, mentions two daughters, at least one of which carried the McKenzie surname. Verne's obituary makes no mention of daughters, so they may not have been his biological children. Verne's obituary also makes no mention of his two sons in Canada, which were biological.
