Cora was the daughter of Calvin C Covington and Martha E Rogers.
Calvin died about 1877. The family may have been living in St. Francis, Arkansas or Fayette County, TN at the time of his death. There was a bad epidemic of Yellow Fever during this time period. I do no know where Calvin was buried.
Cora's mother remarried Sept 18, 1878 to William R. Greenman and they moved to Lawrence, Van Buren, Michigan. This was a short and unusual affair. Martha was promised a piece of land if she stayed married to William but apparently that was not enough to make her stay. They divorced in 1880 and Martha and the two daughters moved to Kansas.
Martha remarried a third time to Ard Godfrey Emery around 1889 in Kansas. They later moved to Michigan and to Tennessee.
Martha died between 1910-1920 most likely in Tennessee.
