Harve C. Jones 71, of Des Arc, passed away on Wednesday morning March 28, 1945. He had
been ill for about eight months.
He leaves four sons, James Thomas Jones, of Fredericktown, Henry Lealon Jones of Elvins, Omer Lafayette Jones and Gentry Lee Jones in the Army, and five daughters: Mrs. Emma Viola Jones-King of near Annapolis; Mrs. Clara Ann Jones-Hamilton, Mrs. Ava Dora Jones-Stevens, Mrs. Nellie Ida Jones- Hamilton, all of whom lived near Des Arc and Mrs. Myra Lenora Jones-Middendorf of Elvins, Two children died in infancy.
Three sisters, Mrs. Lucy Felicia Jones-Cox-Kelley, Mrs. Rosella Jane Jones-King, of Lesterville; and
Mrs. Mary Naomi Jones Coach of Okla. also survive.
Word was sent to the boys in the army and funeral services are pending their arrival.
He was my Great Grandfather.
