Peggy was the daughter of Clarence H. and Lottie (Stricklin) Stewart. She married (1) John Willis Wright and they had four children: JoAnn, John Allen, Charles Daniel and Michael Anthony. She later married (2) William Andrew Moose.

HUNTERSVILLE Peggy Jean Stewart Moose, 71, of Huntersville, died Dec. 29, 2000 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.
A native of Belmont, she was daughter of the late Clarence and Lottie Strickland Stewart. She was retired from Danaher Tool Company in Bessemer City, a member of E Belmont Baptist and a member of DAV Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband, William A. Moose; three sons, John Wright of Easley, SC, Danny Wright of Winston-Salem, Tony Wright of Kings Mountain; one daughter, JoAnn Rumfelt of Lowell; one brother, Ralph Stewart of Clover; ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Saturday at Carothers Funeral Home in Mt. Holly.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel of Carothers Funeral Home in Mt. Holly with Rev. Alvin Love officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Gardens in Mt. Holly. Pallbearers will be Dewey Moose, Jonathan Wright, Jeremy Rumfelt, Chris Morgan, Vernon Schronce, Sonny Johnston, and Larry Moose, Jr.
