Ashley Hensley Raymer, 25, of Asheville, went to be with her loving Lord on Monday, July 4, 2005.
A native of Buncombe County, she was an exquisite salon stylist, an exceptional Aveda-certified color instructor, and beloved wife. Ashley was a faithful member of West Asheville Baptist Church. Her cheerful smile always brightened the room as her unquestionable joy for life spread to everyone around her.
Mrs. Raymer was the daughter of David Alan Hensley and Debra Sizemore Hensley of Barnardsville, and granddaughter of the late Artus and Jolena Sayles.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband, Mark Joseph Raymer; her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. William E. Hensley of Asheville, Tom "Pap" and Janet "Nan" Kelly of Alabama, and Mr. & Mrs. Asa Sizemore of Asheville; one brother David Alan "DJ" Hensley, Jr. of Barnardsville; and her dearly loved pets, Bailey and Jordan.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at West Asheville Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Lewis officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Her family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the church and at other times will be at the residence.
