Patricia Joan Dutton Hopson, 83, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, died Friday, July 10, 2009, at Jefferson Regional Medical center.

She was born, November 30, 1925, in Ferozepore, India, to John Francis and Lucy Wingfred Moxham Dutton.

She was reared and educated in London, England.

Mrs. Hopson was a homemaker and attended Greenlee Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Porter Hopson, whom she married on January 10, 1946, in London, England; her parents; a brother Gerald Dutton; a sister, Joyce Manton; and a grandson, Aubrey Seth Hopson.

Survivors include a son, Terry Hopson of Pine Bluff; a sister, Jean Skitton of Surrey, England; loving friend and companion Laura Hopson of Pine Bluff; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; caregiver and friend, Tammy Epperson Smith.

A Memorial graveside service by Ralph Robinson & Son will be 10 AM, Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at Union Cemetery with Reverend James Watson officiating.

The family will receive friends at the home of Terry Hopson, 7901 Tall Timber Lane, Pine Bluff, and at the home of Laura Hopson, 4509 North Rockwood Drive, Pine Bluff.
