Joyce Kay Webb, 59, of Pilot Point passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2009, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on Sept. 24, 1949 in Kansas City, Mo., to Homer Elmer and Addie Mae (Cassidy) Frisbey. Kay was a 1967 graduate of Lone Jack High School in Missouri. She married Paul Webb Jr. on June 17, 1972. Kay worked as a home health aide for Bluebonnet Home Care and had worked as a bus driver for Pilot Point Independent School District. She also had served as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician with Pilot Point Ambulance Service at one time. Kay enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren.
A funeral service under the direction of Slay Memorial Funeral Center will be held on Monday, March 30, 2009, at 10 a.m. at New Life Worship Center in Pilot Point; Jim Brown and Brandon Henderson will officiate. Burial will follow at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 29, 2009, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Aubrey.
She is survived by her mother, and one daughter, two brothers, and five grandchildren, Survivors also include several aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews. Kay was preceded in death by her father, Homer Elmer Frisbey.
