BOONEVILLE - Bobbie Nell Ingram Allen, 79, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, in Kenosha, Wis. She was born July 30, 1929, in Booneville to Bill Jack Ingram and Rebecca Phillips Ingram. She married Sam D. Allen on Aug. 9, 1946. He preceded her in death on June 29, 2001. She moved to Kenosha, Wis., in 1950. She was employed by Swan Laundry and later by AMC/Chrysler. On Sept. 30, 1991, she retired from Chrysler as a press room operator with 35 years of service. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church, UAW Retirees Local No. 72, UAW Local No. 72 Women's Committee and Ke-Nash-A Club. An avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and Brett Favre, she enjoyed flower gardening and washing clothes. A wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be remembered for her devotion to her family.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charlie Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include three children, Barbara Sturino (Jerry) of Kenosha, Ernie Allen Sr. (Janet) of Coldwater and Jackie Allen of Kenosha; seven grandchildren, Debra Garble (Jerry), Melissa Miles, Daniel Miles (Audrey), all of Kenosha, Jaime Johnson, Ernie Allen Jr., Alex Allen and Dylan Allen, all of Coldwater; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, B.J. Ingram, John Franklin Ingram and Billy Joe Ingram; and two sisters, Dorothy Daughtry and Mary Helen Block.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a brother, Woodie Ingram; and a sister, Sara Ann
