Birth: Nov. 22, 1926
Alabama, USA
Death: Mar. 11, 1986
Alabama, USA

H Dale Attaway Sr. was retired from the United States Air Force. He was a life long Alabama football fan, loved to fish in local Alabama lakes, and enjoyed watermelon with his grandchildren on hot summer days. He worked as a truck driver after he retired from the Air Force. Dale Attaway lived most of his life in Alabama, his active duty in the service took him away from his wife and seven children for months at a time. He loved reading, children, dogs, history, autumn football games, and cold beer. His grandchildren called him Big Dale, and he was a born-again Christian in his later years. He read the bible and came to know salvation before his unexpected death in 1986. He is survived by seven children, Dale Attaway Jr. , Ruth Meadows, Wayne Attaway, Dwight Attaway, Rebeka Moore, Sandra Hyde, Roger Attaway, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Rest in Peace Daddy.
