Wm H. Heller is Taken by Death
William H. Heller passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Bucher in East Galena at 4:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Dec 13th. The deceased was born in Germany December 21st, 1846 and came to America in 1852. He resided in Jo Daviess County for fifty-five years and followed the occupation of farming for a number of years in East Galena. His wife preceded him in death thirty-three years ago. The following children are surviving; R. H. Heller of Rice Township, Henry of Schullsburg, Wisconsin, William of East Galena, Fred of Texas, Mrs. William Beadle of Rice Township, and Mrs. John Bucher of East Galena. Twenty-one grandchildren are also surviving. Mr. Heller was a charter member of Steuben Lodge O. F. & M. Wildey Lodge and is a member of Wildey Lodge No. 5, I. O. O. F.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon from the home in East Galena at two o'clock pm. Burial will be made in Greenwood Cemetery.
