(Patricia) Fowler, Alexandria, Va.; two stepchildren, James (Lina) Burton, Aldie, Va. and Donna Jean (James) Bond, Sparta, Tennessee; two brothers, Walter (Mary) Fowler, Normal and Larry (Grace) Fowler, Peoria; one sister, Thelma Dubson, Monticello; sister-in-law, Shirley Fowler, Bloomington and six stepgrandchildren, James (Cynthia) Burton Jr., Laura (John) Kelley, Lawrence Ashley, Anthony Ashley, Lisa (John) Garrels and Casey (Jennifer) Lingan.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
