Richard (Dick) L. Knabel
Dick was born in Tacoma on May 17, 1946 and died on Dec. 31, 2002, due to a snowmobile accident. He was a graduate of Puyallup High School. He served with the U.S. Navy. Dick retired as a detective from Pierce Co. Sheriff's Dept. with 28 years of service. He is survived by his son David, sister Jeanie, father John and four grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Jan. 4 at 11:00am, Fir Lane Memorial Park. Reception following at the Puyallup Elks. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 5044, Hagerstown, MN 21741-5044.
