The Frederick Post - January 11, 1969

Zachariah M. Compher, 85, of Poolesville, died Thursday night in Frederick Memorial Hospital.

He was a member of the Poolesville Memorial United Methodist Church and belonged to IOOF Lodge No. 97, Poolesville.

He is survived by one brother, W. Clinton Compher, Brunswick, N.J.

Friends may call at the Hilton Funeral Home in Barnesville from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Services will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Hayden L. Sparks will officiate.

Interment will be made in the Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
