FAY JONES
Fay Jones, retired Miami electrical contractor, died at 8:15 am today at his home, 501 First avenue northeast, following a long illness. He was 80.
Mr. Jones, a native of Galena, Kan., also served as a city inspector for 25 years before retiring 14 months ago.
He was a past master of Miami's Masonic lodge and a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nettie D. Jones; a son, Durwood Jones, Pacific, Mo,; four daughters, Mrs. Ted Danford and Mrs Jerry Cottrell, both of Pacific, Mrs. Lotus Cone, Austin, Tex. and Mrs. Fern Bartran of Houston, Tex.; 10 grand-children and 11 great-grand-children.
The body was received by the Cooper funeral home.
