The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, and service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 1 both at Munford Funeral Home - Millington Chapel. Interment will be in Memory Hill Gardens. Mr. Garrett was a member of Christ Church Bartlett. He leaves his wife, Betty Jo Garrett; daughter, Donna G. Breeden; son, Wendell R. Garrett; stepsons, Charles D. Sanders and Clifford J. Sanders; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Christ Church Bartlett or Egypt Baptist Church.
