Funeral services for Mrs. Artie B. Mustion, 83, of Lexington were held in the First Baptist Church of Lexington at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 1971. Rev. Kermit Argo and Rev. Don Chambers conducted the services.
Mrs. Mustion was a long time resident of Cleveland County. She was born in Calico Rock, Arkansas and passed away November 1, 1971 in the Purcell Municipal Hospital following an extended illness.
Surviving are her husband, H.T. Mustion; four daughters, Mrs. Irene Eeds and Mrs. Bernice Way, both of Stratford, Mrs Katherine Moses and Mrs. Doris Spurgin, both of Lexington; two sons, Albert Staats of Big Bear Lake, California, and Leo T. Staats of Fort Worth, Texas; two stepsons, Glen Mustion of Oklahoma City and Wayne Mustion of Oklahoma; 19 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
Grandsons of Mrs. Mustion served as pallbearers.
She was preceded in death by the children's father James V. Staats and two sons, Fred V. and Inman James Staats and one step-son, Granville Mustion.
Interment was in the Wanette Cemetery with arrangements by Connors Funeral Home of Purcell.
