Obituary

John Inghram, 77, of Carmichaels R. D. 1, died at 6:20 a.m. Monday, February 26, 1973, in Greene County Memorial Hospital after a serious illness of about two years.

Born October 8, 1895 in Cumberland Township he was a son of Thomas M. Inghram and Ida Gwynn Inghram, and was married to Sara Hewitt Inghram, who survives.

Mr. Inghram was a retired mechanic for the Buckeye Coal Company, Nemacolin Mine, and was a member of the United Mine Workers, District 4 Local 6290, Nemacolin. As a veteran of World War I, he was also a member of the Cumberland Post 400, American Legion, Carmichaels, and was a member of the Uniontown Methodist Church.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, Mrs. Sara Hewitt Inghram, is a sister-in-law, Mrs. Jones Pickens.

A sister, Catherine Minor, is deceased.(from G. Hobson)
